How TreatWalk Tracks Your Dog's Progress

Distance, pace, routes, streaks — here is everything TreatWalk captures and why it all adds up to something meaningful.

How TreatWalk Tracks Your Dog's Progress

Numbers tell stories. A 2.5-kilometer walk on a Tuesday morning. A pace of 10 minutes per kilometer. A route that looped through the park, down along the creek, and back through the neighborhood. A streak now 23 days long and growing.

Individually, each of these data points is interesting. Together, they are a record of a dog parent who showed up.

TreatWalk was built to capture every dimension of your walks — not to overwhelm you with data, but to give your consistency a shape. Something you can see, share, and be proud of.

What Gets Tracked

Every walk you record in TreatWalk logs the following automatically:

Distance traveled, measured via GPS with the kind of accuracy that accounts for every turn and backtrack your dog insists on making. Time elapsed, from the moment you hit record to the moment you finish. Pace, calculated in real-time and displayed on your screen as you walk. Your route, rendered as a clean map you can screenshot and share. And of course, your streak — the cumulative record of days walked without a break.

Over time, your walk history becomes a library. You can look back at every walk you have completed, see how your distances have grown, watch your pace improve, and trace the routes that have become your favorites.

Progress You Can Actually See

One of the things we are most proud of in TreatWalk is how the data feels. It does not feel clinical. It does not feel like a fitness tracker. It feels like a journal — a record of time spent with your dog, rendered in numbers and maps.

When Karolina reached her 200th consecutive day, she could scroll back through 200 walks. 200 mornings, evenings, and lunch breaks where she and her dog showed up for each other. That is not just data. That is a relationship, documented.
